SEAFOOD BOIL @ CENTRO, DES MOINES, IA

What is a better way to celebrate the end of summer than a Seafood Boil? Although I had free rein to utilize all of Italy for this event, for me, it was screaming Southern Italy. When I curate menus for formal wine dinners, I always try to bring a couple new or unique items to add an element of surprise to the experience, however, logistical challenges have a way of forming their own kind of yellow tape. The Wine Gods were especially kind to me for this event and I was able to secure three new items to accompany Chef Michael's amazing menu.
